Coca-Cola Proudly Presents the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Stop at Save-On-Foods Store in Langley

Langley, BC – February 8, 2010: The eyes of the world will be watching, as the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay continues on its historical journey through Langley to the city of Vancouver. The Olympic Flame will stop at the Save-On-Foods Willoughby store location on February 8th, 2010 as part of its 106- day journey. Celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event and demonstrate your national pride, and show your support as Coca-Cola presents the Canadian Olympic Foundation with a $50,000 donation.

At the start of 2009, Coca-Cola in participation with the Overwaitea Food Group announced a commitment to the PowerAde Hometown Heroes program; proceeds from sales of participating PowerAde products are being donated to the Canadian Olympic Foundation who ensures all funds are specifically tailored toward athlete success. The amazing support that Overwaitea Food Group stores provided has generated $50,000 for the Canadian Olympic Foundation, and a presentation of the cheque from Coca-Cola will be made at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay stop on February 8th at the Willoughby Save-On-Foods location.

Fun for all:

• Opportunity to see, touch and take pictures with an Olympic Torch
• Entertainment for the entire family will be available

On its 106-day journey, the Olympic Flame will be carried across Canada by 12,000 torchbearers. It will travel 45,000 km and will pass through more than 1,000 communities across the country before arriving in Vancouver on February 12, 2010.

WHEN: Monday, February 8th, 2010. Entertainment begins at 12:30pm; torch arrives at 1:41pm and
departs at 1:51pm.

SCHEDULE:
• 12:30pm – Event start and entertainment will be underway
• The Flame will be traveling on 202nd Street, right onto Save-On-Foods parking lot, arriving at
approximately 1:41pm.
• The Flame departs the Save-On-Foods parking lot and turn right onto 64th Ave, at about 1:51pm.
