Make smart choices for our oceans with SeaChoice sustainable seafood cards. Find them at the seafood counter in every OFG store.
Or download it here.

When buying seafood at OFG stores, look for these symbols:

Best Choice – (Green sticker) A green or “Best Choice” item is well managed, abundant, and caught or farmed in environmentally sustainable ways that don’t harm marine habitat or other species.

Some Concerns – (Yellow sticker)  A yellow or “Some Concerns” item is an option that is better than those on the red list, but there are some concerns with how they are caught or farmed, or the health of their habitat.

Avoid – Red listed items come from farmed or wild sources with a combination of problems including habitat damage, negative impacts on other species, critically low populations, or poor management. We’ve removed several red-list species from our store shelves, including Shark, Orange Roughy, Chilean Seabass & Yellowfin Tuna.
